Meet Casey!<br/><br/>He is a 9-year-old, 12-pound gentleman who's spent his entire life being the apple of someone's eye—and it shows.<br/><br/>He's wonderfully well-mannered, loves people, gets along with other dogs, and is about as easygoing as they come. Hand him a favorite toy, a cozy spot to curl up, and he'll happily entertain himself for the afternoon.<br/><br/>Recently, Casey lost his mommy — she passed after a prolonged illness — and losing the only family he's ever known has been a big adjustment for this little guy. <br/><br/>He's weathering the storm, but he's still hoping to find what he misses most: one special person to call his own. He has been both paper-trained and outside potty trained, though with everything he's been through, he'll do best with someone who can help him stay consistent with his potty schedule for now.<br/><br/>Because he's always been someone's constant companion, Casey would be happiest in a home where he doesn't have to compete for attention. He enjoys other dogs, but he'd love to be the apple of someone's eye again.<br/><br/>Casey is healthy, incredibly sweet, and ready to spend his golden years doing what he does best—being a loyal companion.
