Meet Casey!
Casey is a 7 year old mixed breed (we think she is part pittie and part american bull dog) girl, looking for a forever home! She has been confused since losing her previous owner. She arrived at NAWS with her brother who was adopted quickly after arriving. She is one of the sweetest dogs, she absolutely loves affection and will flop over for belly rubs immediately. Casey loves walks and lounging on her dog bed. She is extremely clean, never has any accidents and is overall and amazing pup. Casey can be selective on other dogs, she would need to be your only pet or be introduced to any other pets in the home slowly, she prefers other male dogs over female dogs (like her brother) . Casey's personality is to die for. She loves kids and is always friendly to new people. We don't know why she is still here. Please consider meeting Casey!

Casey came to us as an owner relinquishment due to the family moving to an apartment that did not allow dogs on 2/15/22. She lived in a home with kiddos ranging from 2-22 and lived and loved her big dog brother. She DOES NOT have a bite history and has never shown any aggression. She has been overlooked for a long time. She needs a home with no cats.

The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
