Case's Story

Meet Case — a resilient, playful boy ready for his forever home

Case is a 15-month-old, petite pittie/boxer mix weighing about 38 lbs who truly beat the odds. He was pulled from the euthanasia list in Modesto, CA and tagged for rescue the night before his scheduled euthanasia. After patiently waiting several days for transport, Case made his journey to Washington and is now safe in a local home, waiting for a family to call his own.

Case is a social, people-loving dog who enjoys being close to his humans. He loves cuddles, likes to follow his people around, and has an endearing habit of tossing his blanket into the air and letting it fall over his body when he's ready to get cozy. He thrives on connection and does best when he's included in daily life.

With other dogs, Case is enthusiastic and playful. He loves dogs, but sometimes his excitement gets the best of him and he can play a bit rough. Because of this, he would do best in a home with a confident, playful dog—ideally larger than him—who can match his energy and enjoys rowdy, physical play. He's still learning appropriate play manners and continues to improve with structure and guidance.

Case is also obsessed with his ball and happily entertains himself with fetch and playtime. He is neutered, fully vetted, microchipped, heartworm negative, and almost fully potty trained. He is not a good fit for a home with cats, as he enjoys chasing.

Case survived against all odds and is ready for the stability, patience, and love of a committed home. With the right match—people who understand playful young dogs and can provide consistency—Case has all the makings of a loyal, fun-loving companion.

If you're looking for a dog who will play hard, cuddle harder, and be deeply devoted to his people, Case may be your perfect match.

Adoption fee $400

www.northwestwagrescue.org
