Meet Carrie 💕 -- Her Forever Family Is Out There!<br/>Sweet, beautiful Carrie has been waiting patiently for her happily-ever-after, and she's ready to make up for lost time! 🐾<br/>At approximately 2 years old, Carrie has already been through more than any young dog should. She was found at the old Ft. McClellan in Alabama with her canine friend. While her buddy headed to Wisconsin and found his forever family, Carrie had to stay behind after testing positive for heartworm.<br/>But Carrie is a total champ! 💪❤️ She bravely completed her heartworm treatment and has been tested not once, but twice since then--negative in March and negative again at her June follow-up! Now this resilient girl is finally headed to Wisconsin, and she's hoping her next stop will be HOME.<br/>Carrie is:<br/>🏡 Crate trained<br/>🦮 A good leash walker<br/>🐶 Dog-friendly with proper introductions<br/>🐾 Knows "sit" with a verbal command and hand signal<br/>❤️ Ready to give her family all the love she's been saving up!<br/>Carrie has been around cats and is very interested in them, so a cat-free home--or one where kitty interactions can be closely supervised--would likely be the best fit.<br/>After everything she's been through, Carrie deserves a family who will show her just how wonderful forever can be.
