Carmen's Story

Darling little Carmen has been with us since July 16th. She was found near Jackson Milton High School as a stray. The minute she came through the door we have her a bath in Dawn dish soap. She had fleas crawling all over her. Her back end was missing a lot of fur and her skin was visibly irritated. She was an excellent little lady for the bath. We told her that we liked her but her creepy crawly friends-not so much. She took a capstar like a champ and has been healing nicely ever since. Carmen is a little lab mix? She is friendly and happy and quite a little sweetheart. She does great with other dogs too! Please share her. Black dogs wait such a long time to be adopted. She should be in a home with a family. She deserves better than this. Young adult lab mix? The fee is determined by the weight of the dog when they have their spay/ neuter surgery. The fee covers spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, lyme test, heart worm test, dewormer, dapp vaccine and dog license. Friends of Fido is a non-profit organization that helps the dogs at the Mahoning County Dog Warden. They are offering to cover the costs of the first round of training to any dog adopted from the pound.
