Carlton is a spunky 8 year old yorkie who lived his whole life at a puppy mill. Now it's time for this cutie to know how it feels to be a cherished, loved family member. <br/><br/>Don't let his age or size fool you-- he's energetic, playful, and keeps up on daily mile walks with the resident dogs in his foster home. He also LOVES to curl up and snooze on your lap, and at 4 lbs he's the perfect little lap dog. <br/><br/>He's great with dogs, cats, and all people including very young children. He's crate trained and almost potty trained, he's making excellent progress and is such a smart boy. <br/><br/>Due to past neglect, Carlton's teeth weren't in the best shape so he had most of them pulled (that's why his funny little tongue sticks out the side). He also has an oronasal fistula, which the vet said is just fine to leave alone since it doesn't bother him, if it were to present any significant problems for him then they'd want to treat it.
