After raising multiple litters of puppies, Carlotta has more than earned her happily-ever-after. She's now spayed and looking for a family who will shower her with the love and care she's always deserved.

Carlotta absolutely adores people and is happiest when she's by your side, soaking up affection and attention. She's friendly with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions, but true to her Shepherd roots, she can be a little bossy and likes to herd her dog friends from time to time. She'll do best with dogs that don't mind her taking charge every now and then.

One of Carlotta's most charming features is her adorable ear-one stands tall while the other flops off to the side, giving her the sweetest, slightly goofy expression that everyone falls in love with.

She's a joy to walk on a leash, knows some basic commands, and is a wonderful companion for neighborhood strolls or relaxing at home. She's smart, eager to please, and loves spending time with her people.

Carlotta does have a high prey drive, so any home with cats would need to have a very dog-savvy, confident cat, and slow, thoughtful introductions would be essential. She may also be happiest in a home without small animals.

After spending years taking care of everyone else, it's finally Carlotta's turn to be loved. She's ready for a family who will cherish her, appreciate her loyal heart, laugh at her adorable sideways ear, and give her the forever home she's been waiting for.

Could Carlotta be the missing piece of your family?

*Originated from: South Dakota Reservation.

---------------

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
