Carlitos's Story

Name: Carlitos
Sex: Male
Age: 3.5 years
Breed: Australian Terrier mix
Size: Small
Color: Black & Grey
Weight: 17 lbs

Medical:
Neutered • Vaccinated • Dewormed • 4DX Negative

Personality:
Carlitos is a fun-loving, affectionate young adult who enjoys staying active and being close to his people. He does great with children and especially bonds with women. He can be selective with other male dogs and may show some territorial behavior around food, so proper introductions and structure are important.

He's leash-trained, potty-trained, and loves the simple joys in life—car rides, bath time (yes, really!), snuggling in bed, and even a little mouse hunting. Despite his small size, he's alert and will let you know if something catches his attention.

His Story:
Carlitos was found one rainy night wandering near a bus station in Guadalajara. He was in rough shape—underweight and suffering from severe skin issues caused by demodex mange. A kind security guard noticed him and reached out for help, and one of our rescuers stepped in.

With proper medical care and lots of love, Carlitos has made a full recovery and is now healthy, happy, and ready for his next chapter.

Looking For:
Carlitos is currently waiting in Mexico for a family to commit to a 10-day trial so he can make the trip north. His adoption fee is $600. He's looking for a loving home that will give him the stability and care he's always deserved—and in return, he'll bring loyalty, personality, and plenty of cuddles.
