Hi Friends, my name is Carly, because supercalifragilisticexpialidocious too long. I'd love to tell you a little about me and why I'm so fantastic! <br/><br/>I am 2-year-old, large mixed breed girl. I've been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested! I'm ready to go! <br/><br/>My past isn't as bright as one would hope, but my future is going to be so much brighter. I was taken away from my owners because they were less than kind to my brother and me. You see, we were just puppies when they got us, and they weren't patient with us. They weren't prepared for our puppy behavior and chose not to train us kindly. Full disclosure, I'm happy and excited, and ready to go when I meet you. I want to give you all the kisses, and hugs, and I need to be reminded to be gentle and approach calmly. Sudden movements, or big gestures with your arms or hands make me cower. But once you show me a kind hand, I'm right back to my happy self. <br/><br/>A home with another dog would probably work out well for me, because I love to play hard! I'm not sure how I would do living with cats, as I can't remember if I've ever lived with one before. A home with older kids who can help me manage my energy would probably be best. While I love little people, they would likely get knocked down. I will definitely need an owner with some patience as I still need some help on my basic manners, but the shelter says I have nothing but potential! <br/><br/>If you’d like to meet me, stop by the shelter Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm.
