He had been tied up with tape wrapped around his mouth to stop him from barking. A compassionate rescuer witnessed this and refused to look away. She advocated for him and brought him to safety.<br/><br/>Though faint marks remain as reminders of his past, Caramelo has long since embraced love and security.
