Meet Caramel Crunch!<br/><br/>Caramel Crunch is a sweet 8 -month-old, 25 pound terrier mix who loves to play, snuggle, and follow his people everywhere. He enjoys tug toys, snuffle mats, and puzzle games, and can entertain himself when needed. He’s great with kids and dogs and hasn’t been tested with cats.<br/><br/>This smart pup knows “sit,” is about 90% potty trained, and sleeps quietly all night on a dog bed. The crate is still stressful for him, but he’ll go in for treats and meals. He’s practicing his leash manners and will thrive with a family who can keep building his confidence.<br/><br/>Caramel needs a family that will be patient with his separation anxiety and crate training. He really does not like the crate and it is a big stressor for him. His perfect family would be one that has a dog or willing to help exercise his sporadic energy. He does fine also entertaining himself with toys or puzzles because he’s incredibly smart!<br/><br/>Come meet Caramel Crunch—your sweet new sidekick!<br/><br/>Our standard adoption fee is $465. We offer a $15 discount for adopters who pay by cash or check, making the adoption fee $450.<br/><br/>The adoption fee includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, fecal test, deworming, current on flea and tick preventative, and microchip.<br/><br/>To ensure the best match for both our dogs and adopters, we require a fully completed adoption application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with the entire household.
