Cara's Story

Arf Arf! My name is Cara, and I’m a four-month-old bundle of black lab joy! I weigh about 25 pounds, which is perfect.

Oh, I LOVE zoomies! My legs just can't help but pump when I get that feeling. My foster family says I’m the sweetest, and I think they’re right! I love everyone and everything, especially finding the perfect stick to carry around.

Food is also a big motivator for me. If you rustle a bag or even just say the word "treat," I’m running to you for some loving and maybe a little nibble. My foster parents are teaching me about collars and leashes, and I’m a quick learner! It’s an adventure every time we go outside. My brother and I sleep through the night in our puppy pen, and I even did great on a long car ride in my crate. I know I’m going to be a super smart dog.

Right now, my brother and I share a puppy pen, so we haven't quite mastered potty training yet. We’re working on it, though! There are also other dogs here, and some kids who are about 6 to 11 years old. They’re fun to play with, and I love getting pets from everyone. I can’t wait to see what other adventures await me!

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
