He is an excellent communicator when he wants food or a potty break and has shown us that he is house-broken. Once he tires himself out with the ball, he will curl up next to you on the couch for a relaxing evening of cuddles. He walks quite well on a leash and doesn't mind when we leave the house during the day, as long as we leave him some treat-filled puzzles on our way out.
