Captain Blue Eye, affectionately known as Capo, is a purebred Boston terrier male with one blue eye. He weighs 29 lb. and is 7 years old. He is a sweet boy and loves people He was first rescued from a shelter with his breeding partner by some nice people who have a Boston male. Captain ignored the resident Boston except to steal his toys:) The female of the pair picked fights with him and he defended himself, but he did not start it. <br/><br/>Capo is presently in foster care and we would love for him to have a home of his own. Perhaps one or two other dogs would be fine, but Capo would need some alone time to decompress before introducing him slowly to his doggy housemates. <br/><br/>Capo does like to run when it is cool (6:30 am and just before dark) he has issues breathing in the heat. He loves to play and he gets along with the two male dogs in the foster home that are about his size and they are submissive.He does not get along with small dogs. He loves a kiddy pool with water and he loves a water hose and sprinkler. <br/><br/>Captain is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and is on heartworm prevention.He did have heartworm disease when he first came to us, but has been treated and is now heartworm negative. He has seen a cardiologist and has no heart damage from the infection.
