What is Country Road Rescue’s adoption process?

Applications are on our website countryroadrescue.org, or if requested, applications will be emailed and mast be emailed back. If a post goes away it's because there are several applications to be reviewed. Meetings are by appointment only. Adoption Agreements and fee will be required at time of adoption. Please no phone calls. We can get back to you much faster via email at adoptions@countryroadrescue.org

What is Captain’s adoption fee?

$300

Is Captain good with kids?

Captain is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Captain good with other animals?

Captain is good with other dogs. It is not known if Captain is good with cats.

When can I meet Captain?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Captain?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
