Capone

Capone is a happy, healthy, very people-friendly 11+ year old guy who is good with other dogs his size and cats(who don’t run!). He entered our rescue program when his owner was facing multiple surgeries and could no longer care for him. Although he was described as a Gordon Setter by his previous veterinarian, a DNA test revealed that he is really a Golden Retriever mix! Curious? His DNA results are available.<br/><br/>Gordon is a bit chubby at about 72#. He is dieting to reach a more ideal weight of 63-65#. He is neutered, housebroken, heartworm negative and parasite-free. His blood panel is within normal ranges.<br/><br/>This boy is sweet and playful and LOVES to go for walks! He is happy to sleep on your sofa or on his bed beside your bed. He would be fine as an only dog, but he would probably prefer another Canine family member as enjoys the companionship of his 12 year old foster sister.<br/><br/>He is a perfect, easy-going companion looking for a new family to love.<br/>Capone is fostering in Maryland.
