Capitan's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Capitan is just the best friend you could ask for. He is a medium sized dog, probably around 40lbs now. He loves everyone, great with dogs, loves kids, doesn't really even notice cats. He does have lots of energy and will need a family who is able to give him a way to use it like long walks and lots of play time. He is crate trained, learning basic commands, still perfecting housebreaking and how this leash thing works. The reason he is taking more time to learn is that he is mostly deaf and blind. He did have to have one eye removed and has limited sight out of his other eye, but he gets around just fine so he does have vision. He also is mostly deaf but hears some loud, high pitched noises. We have an amazing trainer who volunteered her time to work with him and will also help his new owner learn his commands and how to continue his training. He really is such a sweet boy who just wants all the love. He is fixed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, healthy, and ready to go.

His adoption fee is $400

To adopt Capitan, fill out an application at www.kakf.org/forms
