Introducing this handsome guy we have named Canyon! He was brought to the shelter on 2/22 because he was on a journey to find his way home and got lost. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. So he is on a quick search for a forever home that will keep him safe and sound so he doesn't have to experience a loud, overcrowded shelter ever again. Canyon is only a year old and weighs a mere 48lbs. The volunteers describe him as a a great dog who is super sweet and very cute. He loves his walking adventures when he leaves his kennel and he walks really well on a leash. He is a smart young man and can understand simple commands such as sit when asked especially for treats. So make sure you have plenty on hand! Please take some time and visit with him in Run 88; his ID is 17136. He is waiting for you!
