Canyon (ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED)'s Story

Canyon is in need of a miracle could that be you? Canyon has spent months in boarding waiting for someone to step up as a foster or adopter. He thought he had found his forever home, but his new mom is an elderly woman, and Canyon is just a little too large for her to handle as she grows frailer. We completely understand and know she is heartbroken; we all want what's best for Canyon.

Canyon was originally only 38lbs when he was found as a stray now, he is closer to 60lbs and still has a little weight to gain. He is a very chill boy that loves to lay on the couch. He will be happy to binge watch any show with you. He likes to sniff around and explore outside but only if it's warm enough. He did not enjoy how cold this winter was! Canyon has been described as the perfect gentleman, great in the house, a little goofy and clumsy at times.

Canyon:
3 years old
American Bulldog Mix
Neutered, microchipped
UTD on Vaccines & preventatives
Knows basic commands
Crate/Potty trained
Around 60lbs needs to gain a few more pounds
Needs to be the only dog in the home (Crate/Rotate for fosters will be accepted)
Currently in Concord NC
Originally pulled from Columbia SC
Transport available to anywhere in NC/SC
ADOPTION FEE WAIVED!

All supplies provided to fosters!

Canyon NEEDS a foster or adopter ASAP because there is no more room at the boarding facility for him.
