Cantaloupe is actually the opposite of a wildcat - she is social, loving, affectionate, playful, and sweet. She has several canine friends at the shelter that she enjoys bouncing and romping around with in the yard. Cantaloupe walks well on a leash and is always interested in earning treats for good behavior. She is a confident and smart girl who is eager to learn and please. She plays respectfully with her furry friends and is improving her manners every day. Cantaloupe is truly a social butterfly, and is ready to be your best friend, as well as your best friend's best friend!<br/><br/>Cantaloupe is located at Beacon Animal Rescue in Ocean View, New Jersey. Beacon’s mission is to rescue, shelter, and find loving homes for cats and dogs; to educate the community about responsible treatment of companion animals; and to promote the practice of spaying and neutering in a no-kill environment. All our dogs come spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and medical records, along with a free wellness exam from our veterinary clinic within 30 days of adoption.<br/><br/>If you have any dogs in the household already, we require a meet and greet between the pups to make sure they will get along! All dogs can be cat tested upon request as well, unless the dog has already been tested, which will be marked on their profile.
