Cantaloupe's Story

This sweet girl, estimated to be about 2 years old and weighing in at 20 pounds, has had a rough start to life, but she's ready to turn the page and find her forever home. When she first came to us as a stray, she was in pain from a full vaginal prolapse that had likely troubled her for quite some time. Thankfully, she received treatment, and now she's healed, healthy, and ready to enjoy life to the fullest!

While we don't know all the details of her past, it's clear she hasn't always had the easiest time with humans. Cantaloupe can be a little shy and anxious around new people, but once she realizes she's safe, she shows just how loving and loyal she can be. She's looking for a patient, gentle owner who will give her the space to decompress and shower her with the affection she's been missing.

At only two years old, Cantaloupe has her whole life ahead of her, and she's ready to make it full of play, cuddles, and adventures. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, enjoys playtime and socializing, and is happiest when she can join in the fun. With her human friends, she just needs a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, you'll have a devoted new BFF who loves to snuggle and hang out by your side.

Cantaloupe would thrive in a quiet, loving home where she can feel safe and cherished. She's sweet, resilient, and ready to bloom into the happy, carefree, spunky girl she was always meant to be. Could your home be the place where Cantaloupe finally feels safe, loved, and at peace?
