Cannoli's Story
Meet Cannoli!

This handsome little Pomeranian is around 3–4 years old and is ready to trade his stray-dog story for a forever home of his own. Cannoli was found as a local stray, and sadly, no one came forward to claim him before his stray hold was up. Thankfully, he is now safe in a loving foster home where he is being well cared for while he waits for his happily-ever-after!

Cannoli is a gentle, easygoing guy with a personality that is more cat-like than dog-like. He enjoys being around his people, getting plenty of pets, going for leisurely walks, and tagging along for car rides. While he lives with multiple dogs in his foster home and gets along well with them, he isn’t particularly interested in playing or roughhousing with his canine roommates. He actually seems to prefer the company of the resident cats!

Cannoli also does well with kids and is comfortable around other dogs and cats. He does have some mild separation anxiety, so his ideal family will be patient and understanding as he settles in and learns that his people always come back.

We think Cannoli would be happiest in a calm, quiet home where he can relax, receive lots of love, and enjoy the simple things in life. A peaceful household with someone who appreciates a cuddly companion rather than a high-energy playmate would be right up his alley.

And a little Pomeranian PSA! Poms have beautiful fluffy coats that require regular grooming and ongoing maintenance. Cannoli’s future family should be prepared for routine brushing, professional grooming appointments, nail trims, dental care, and general coat maintenance to keep him comfortable, healthy, and looking his best.
Cannoli has spent enough time wondering where he belongs. Now he’s hoping his forever family is out there wondering where he is

If Cannoli sounds like your kind of companion, please consider giving this sweet boy the forever home he’s been waiting for!

Apply to adopt: https://laststoprescue.com/adoption-app/

--------------------- About our process and fees---------------------

Our application: https://laststoprescue.com/adoption-app/

If you're interested in donating, sponsoring or volunteering please visit us at www.LastStopRescue.com or follow us on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/Laststoprescue.il
We treat these dogs as individuals with needs and to that end all of our dogs will have been in fosters no less than two weeks, they will have at least started training if not attend weekly classes and get daily training at home with the fosters!

Which means our longest residents will be the best trained, as long as they're with us we're going to keep socializing and working through any issues they may have.

When you adopt from us you will have a very clear picture of the dog you're meeting and on going support!

Our Fees are as follows:
Senior dogs over 7 are $450
Adult dogs are $650
Puppies under 1 year are $800
Specific breeds are $900

With each adoption you will be...
1. Given up to four hours of free training (from the foster and coordinator),
2. Full medical report of all findings,
3. All of the supplies needed for a new dog as we attain these for the care of each dog,
4. A full run down on their behavioral status, where they started, where they are and how far is left to go. This will be detailed in a training plan from us about what they can or cannot handle well and it will be discussed as much as needed.

We fully vet all of our dogs which is reflected in our adoption fee. On average we will pay about 600 dollars in medical per dog. Every dog gets a full blood panel, fecal/urine check, heartworm & tick panel and treatment if required, spayed/neutered, all shots and boosters, along with anything specific to their needs.
