Cane (Snickers Mini’s)'s Story

This pretty boy is Cane! He was found as a stray with his mom and siblings. Mom looks like a boxer mix and dad is unknown. Cane and his siblings look more like hound mixes, so dad may have been a hound.

Cane is wonderful with children. He grew up in a home with 3 children (9, 7 and 6). Cane also grew up in a home with a cat and chickens. While he is interested in investigating both the cat and the chickens, he has never made any attempt to touch or grab either. Cane is house trained, and crate trained. He walks well on leash although he pulls a bit at first when he is very excited. But he self corrects when pulled back. Cane has lived in a rural area on a small farm. Cane has met all the dogs in his foster's home and has done very well making new friends. Cane is very sweet and affectionate with humans. He loves to snuggle. Cane weighs 55 lbs, is neutered and fully up to date on his vaccines.

If you are looking for a backyard buddy, or a barn chore friend, Cane is waiting for you! Apply to meet Cane at www.ricopetrecovery.org. The adoption fee is sponsored by a generous Rico supporter.
