Cane's Story

Cane is part of a litter of 11 puppies, along with their mom Merry, that were taken in by our rescue. Cane is now 10 months old. Mom Merry’s DNA was done, and she is a Malinois/Shepherd mix. The puppies all looked so different from each other, so DNA tests were done on a few of them. Cane was one of them. His DNA tests came back as 27% Belgian Malinois, 26% Golden Retriever, 21% Siberian Husky and 15% German Shepherd <br/>Cane is a handsome charmer who loves to give hugs and absolutely loves attention. He loves to play with his siblings and is respectful in his play. He is great with other dogs and has even been tested some with small dogs and has done great. He is an active dog that requires daily exercise, and frequent activity so he will need a home where this can happen. Like his brothers and sisters, Cane is always ready to go, he is playful, curious, adorable, cuddly, and always sweet and loving. He loves to be petted and thinks he is a lap dog. He would thrive in a home where he has someone to give him all the love he is looking for. He is good with everyone he meets and good with other dogs. He is curious about the goats at the rescue but has not shown any aggression towards them and has shown little interest in the chickens when they are in their coop. He has not yet been tested with cats. Cane is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is ready and looking for his perfect family.
