Candy Cane's Story

Meet Candy Cane!

Candy Cane is a male pit mix, approximately 6 months old, with a gorgeous tan, brindle, blonde, and fawn coat. He came to us as a stray with a case of mange, and through it all he has remained a sweet, loving, and resilient puppy with a wonderful personality.

Candy Cane loves other dogs and believes everyone is a potential playmate. He enjoys running, playing, and especially chasing a tennis ball with impressive speed. He would do great in a home that can give him opportunities to play and burn off his puppy energy, though he is just as happy settling down for cuddles once playtime is over.

He is great with people and has met many teenagers and adults. While he has not yet been around younger children, his gentle and friendly demeanor suggests he would do very well with kids. Candy Cane is extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle and snuggle most of the time. He does still get the occasional case of the zoomies, which only adds to his charm.

Candy Cane knows sit, house, come, wait, and even gives kisses. He is a perfect angel in the crate and is eager to please. Whether you are an active family looking for a playful companion or someone who enjoys quiet nights on the couch watching TV, Candy Cane can fit right in.

Cuddly, zoomie filled, and food motivated, Candy Cane has so much love to give and is ready to share it with his forever family.

Looking for a chunky cuddle bug to complete your home? We require an adoption application to be completed in its entirety. Any application with questions not answered fully will not be considered complete and will not be processed. 2. We will notify you that we have processed your application or that we are still processing it. and will go over any areas of concern. 4. Pet meet and greet - we make sure your current pets and your potential new family member are a good match! If you are adopting a dog that is currently with either of our trainers, we will have you bring your dog(s) to our trainer for the meet and greet. **We will not adopt a dog into a situation we do not believe the dog can handle. The dogs are our #1 priority. 6. Finalize the adoption - sign the adoption contract and pay adoption fee - we accept cash or check.
