When they were first found, the puppies stayed close together, seeking comfort in one another as they tried to make sense of a frightening situation.<br/><br/>Now safe in foster care, Candy is beginning to settle into what puppyhood is meant to feel like. Her foster family is working patiently on basic manners and potty training, while showing her that love comes in the form of consistency, kindness, and reassurance.<br/><br/>Candy is learning routines, gaining confidence, and starting to show glimpses of her sweet personality. She’s still very much a baby — curious, impressionable, and ready to grow into a wonderful companion with the right guidance and a calm, loving home.<br/><br/>With time and patience, Candy will blossom into a loyal and affectionate dog. We believe every dog deserves to be part of the family and live safely indoors. Exceptions may be made for specific breeds or unique circumstances where an outdoor environment is appropriate and secure.
