Candy is a 2-year-old female beagle mix who is heartworm-negative. She is still a playful puppy. She’s incredibly affectionate and would be a perfect match for someone looking for a true “velcro dog” who loves to stay close and cuddle. She is very cuddly to her foster mom and has to be corrected for wanting to be near her all the time!<br/><br/>Candy is fully house-trained and has no accidents indoors. She enjoys spending time outside and would do well either as the only dog in the home or with other dogs. She’s gentle and sweet with kids and is not reactive, making her an easy addition to many types of families.<br/><br/>She will go into her crate on her own for meals or when her foster family is away. While she’s still gaining confidence on a leash, she’s learning quickly and improving every day. She still gets a little scared around new people so she will need a family that is patient - but she is worth it!<br/><br/>Candy is truly a loving, gentle soul who will make a wonderful companion.
