Candi's Story

~DOB: 1/1/2023
Weight: 65 lb
Energy level: moderate
Overall drive: moderate
Location: Snohomish, WA
Candi is the kind of dog who quietly works her way into your heart and never leaves. She has a naturally gentle, intuitive spirit, and she’s always checking in to make sure you’re okay. Whether she’s leaning in for soft hugs, curling up beside you, or trotting happily at your side, Candi brings a calm, comforting presence that feels like home.
She’s wonderfully social with both people and dogs, striking that perfect balance between friendly and easygoing. She can be a little thoughtful when meeting new people and will sometimes showing a hint of uncertainty but she processes the world with grace and has never shown anything beyond curiosity. With a bit of reassurance, she settles in beautifully.
Candi is equal parts sweet and goofy. Her zoomies will make you laugh, and her love of food and affection makes her a joy to bond with and train. She already knows some basics and is working diligently to perfect even more skills. With her food motivation and desire to connect, she has so much potentials, pecially for someone looking for a deeply connected companion, or even a future therapy or service dog.
In the home, she’s affectionate, a little clingy in the best way, and happiest just being near her person. She’ll need some guidance with counter surfing (she really loves snacks), but she’s otherwise well-mannered and eager to please.
Candi would thrive in a home that values connection, consistency, and kindness. If you’re looking for a dog who truly feels you and one who will be your shadow, your comfort, and your quiet joy - Candi is waiting.
