Now, every day feels like a brand new adventure! Running through a yard, playing with toys, curling up on a cozy blanket, and having a safe kennel of my own are all things I'm experiencing for the very first time and I absolutely love it. <br/><br/>A few of my favorite things are treats (Pup-Peroni is my favorite) and chasing toys that are thrown for me, though I’m still learning to bring the toys back. Right now, I live with five other dogs and am happily learning the routine of family life. I get along well with my canine friends. <br/><br/>I have the sweet, gentle beagle personality everyone loves, but because everything is still so new, I can be startled by sudden movements or loud noises. The good news is that every single day my confidence grows a little more. I have been to a few adoption events and it turns out I am quite social when I am on a leash. I’ve gotten pets from everyone and loved it! With patience, kindness, and a little encouragement, I'm blossoming into a wonderful companion.<br/><br/>I have come a long way on house training and only have an accident every few days now. I am still working on basic commands but I have “sit” mastered. I sleep quietly in my crate at night. Woof Gang Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our top priority here at WGR is to find the best possible home for each dog.  We screen potential adopters in a variety of ways to ensure that every dog goes to a home that is safe, loving, and lasting.  During the adoption process, you will work closely with your dog's foster parent(s), who know your dog most intimately and can determine if your home is the best fit for your dog.  We will take an application, run a background check, and ensure all of your information is accurate.  We schedule a meet & greet for your family to interact with your dog prior to adopt and we may also perform a scheduled home visit as well.  All adopters sign a contract that outlines and promises proper treatment and care for your pet.  The process may seem strict but it is that way on purpose.  Most of the dogs we rescue come from shelters and/or abusive pasts. We are 100% dedicated to finding them a home where they can be happy, healthy, strong, loved, and cared for every day for the rest of their lives. ***We adopt to Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota only at this time. Residents of Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota will be required to drive to Wisconsin for a meet and greet and the dog that they apply for MUST already be spayed or neutered at the time of adoption.***
