Camo is a 5 year old, 88 pound Redbone Coonhound from Tennessee. Camo is a gentle giant! He is very quiet and mellow. No aggression at all. He likes to explore outside, so a fenced in yard is best for him. He enjoys walks, and does well on a leash. He knows the commands "sit" and "paw". He is treat motivated. Right now, he doesn't really engage with any toys, but he is starting to slowly "play" when we engage him in play. My biggest concern for him is that he refuses to walk on tile or hardwood floors! We have been slowly encouraging him to try walking in the kitchen with treats and lots of praise! He does not shed, but he does drool! I don't have little ones in the house, but Kristal Hahn picked him up for us, and she said he did well with her 7 year old, and with the other dogs that were at the shop that day waiting to be groomed. Right now, (this is only day 4 with us), he is the most "chill" laid back dog I have ever met! That might change when he gets more comfortable, but right now, he does not require a lot of attention during the day, as we are working from home. He is content to nap in his dog bed!
