Camo's Story

Meet Camo. He is a 1 year old beautiful male Pit Bull Terrier Mix. He has gorgeous green eyes and is way laid back. He loves to hang out at home and be a couch potato. He knows to stay off furniture and out of the kitchen as well as to sit and wait when entering doorways, getting his leash, and even at dinner time. He will talk to you in his little chewbacca voice but if you tell him no he will stop. He is NOT a barker or very rambunctious. He is crate trained and actually enjoys sleeping in it during the day despite the fact that he doesn't need to. He goes in very willing and comes out like a gentleman. Camo does know his name, however he does tend to be the adventurous wandering type. I have had him off leash-out in the woods with the other dogs and for the most part he did well but you have to keep an eye on him because his nose does get the better of him and he doesn't have a very good recall, yet. I like to say his ears seem to turn off when his nose turns on... He walks well on a leash also and has never shown signs of aggression. He seems to be okay with children, but the older the better. All dogs he has been fine with, even other dogs getting rude with him, he will either ignore or try to play. He isn't big on playing with toys or chewing surprisingly. He does like a good bone though! He has been around guns, horses, and rode in the bed of the truck and is fine. He loves to go camping!! Camo does know "go" like when he's crowding your space but doesn't always grasp lay down, sit he's mastered. Oh, he also is fine wiping his paws before coming in.

If you are interested in meeting Camo, please fill out THE ADOPTION APPLICATION (CLICK HERE) .

When you have completed the application, please send it back via e-mail to Angela via the following e-mail address: BAPBR@yahoo.com

Once we have received your application, we will call you back within 24 hours to go over your application and to set up a meet and greet time with Camo.
