Camilo's Story

Camilo is a wonderful older gentleman that just needs a safe, quiet place to land. He is very sweet, likes to be with his people, and is friendly with dogs and cats, but would be fine as an only dog too. The first night he was in my home, he showed me his super fast zoomies, with his ears flapping in the wind, showing his happiness. He is from a hoarding situation, but has had no accidents in the house. He has been sleeping in bed with me and is quiet thru the night. He also knows to sit and down for food and treats. He LOVES belly rubs and snuggling with you on the sofa. Camilo is a bit nervous of strangers at first, but warms up very quickly. After a dental Dec 5th and 17 teeth pulled, Camilo is healing and ready for a home! Please consider adding this cute little man to your family!

Hi there!  So you've decided a furry friend is just what you need?  Please apply on our website, https://bigbonescaninerescue.com to get the ball rolling.  You'll be contacted for a home visit to verify your home is an optimal situation for the pup(s) you're interested in.  At any point, you can make arrangements to meet the dogs you are considering.  Some are in foster care and some are at our facility in Windsor. Big Bones Canine Rescue is located in Windsor, CO.  We have dogs at our shelter location as well as many dogs in foster care all over the state.  We do require appointments to come visit dogs.  Please call or text 970.310.3616 or email us at bigbonesrescue@gmail.com to set up an appointment.
