Weight: Around 15 lbs. I have big paws so foster parents think I’m going to be a big boy!
Dog friendly: Absolutely. Cam loves his two foster siblings
Cat friendly: Unknown but foster parents think I listen well enough that I could learn to respect a kitty.
Kid friendly: I would do well with kids but I am in that puppy teething phase. My foster parents aren’t thrilled I bite hands and go for faces. They are teaching me this is unacceptable behavior and tell me I’ve made great progress so far.
House Trained: In progress. I made some amazing progress in a short amount of time. My foster parents no longer have to go outside with me (I’m so brave now) and I know I get a treat once I come back in.
Crate Trained: I’m learning to love my crate. I usually have to go out once during the night and will bark to let my foster parents know. I usually don’t have accidents in my crate.
Energy level: Active to Medium. I am a puppy so I have short bursts of energy followed by a long nap.
History: I came to MPBR from TX with my sister Haley & mom Claire.

From the Foster: Although Cam has been with us only a short amount of time, he has made a lot of really great progress. He tends to be kind of spazzy and can lose focus quickly, so we try to limit “training time” to short 10-15 minute sessions. We used to have to bring him outside and urge him to go potty, now he proudly runs outside with his foster brother & sister and runs back for a treat. He is working on all the basics but we’re working the most on potty training, crate training, and not biting hands/faces. He usually whines for a short amount of time in his enclosed kennel but will quiet down quickly. He will bark to bet let outside 3-4 hours after going to bed, does his business, and then it’s back to bed with no issues. We will start to really incorporate more training in the coming weeks (if he hasn’t been adopted). He’s a great dog, a quick learner, and will make a wonderful dog for someone!
