Her puppies are grown, her job is done, and now shes all about playtime, snuggle time, and toy time... especially toy time. Calypso LOVES her toys with her whole heart — squeaky, bouncy, fluffy, you name it, shes obsessed.<br/><br/>At 2 years old and about 50 pounds, this Labrador mix is the perfect mix of goofy and gentle. Shes playful, friendly with everyone, and always ready for a good romp. A fenced yard would be her dream come true — a safe space to zoom, explore, and proudly parade her favorite toys around like the queen she is.<br/><br/>Calypso has overcome some tough moments, including healing from an infected mammary gland, but shes bounced back beautifully. Now shes ready to trade shelter floors for cozy couches, quiet naps, and a forever family who will spoil her the way she deserves.<br/><br/>This girl has a heart of gold, a toy collection to manage, and a whole lot of love to give. Apply for her today and give her lots of love. <br/><br/>If interested in Calypso, please apply online: ADOPTION APPLICATION or email us at: Info.FetchingHeartsRescue@gmail.com.<br/><br/>Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption:<br/><br/>Thorough veterinary examination.<br/>All routine annual vaccinations, including<br/>Rabies, DHLPP<br/>Bordetella (Kennel Cough)<br/>Heartworm Test<br/>Fecal Test, Deworming<br/>Microchip<br/>Flea and Tick Prevention<br/>Heartworm Prevention.<br/>Spay/Neuter<br/>All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.<br/><br/>VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward.<br/><br/>HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
