Calypso's Story

Hi, I'm Calypso! I'm a 2 year old female Pitbull. I'm about 52lbs of sweetness. I am not really a whirlwind. I'm a little bit shy about the leash. But once you put the leash on me, I prefer to stay close to you. I'm not as adventurous in the play yard, and I don't understand fetch, yet, but I do love affection and attention. It just makes me feel better to receive encouragement and comfort from a kind, caring human. Please come see me and adopt me today!

Humane Society of Yuma's Adoption Policy

We Have 2 locations for adoptions. The main shelter 4050 S. Ave 4 1/2 E ( 5 DAYS A WEEK) OR PetSmart adoption center,( located inside of PetSmart in the Yuma Palms Mall) Monday - Saturday 9:30am- 8pm Sunday 10:30am- 6pm. Not all the animlas seen on the website are able to come to the adoption center, call for the adoption location of a certain pet. Adoption fees range from $0-$250. This includes Spay/Neuter, vaccinations, microchip for dogs. License extra. Open 5 days a week. Adoption hours Tuesday-Saturday 10-4:30pm Office hours 9-5pm 4050 S. Ave 4 1/2 E Yuma , Az 85365 (928) 782-1621
