Meet Calvin! Calvin came in with his brother, Hobbes, towards the beginning of July from a local farm. This handsome Hound/Lab mix is just about 9 months old and weighs 55.6lbs currently. Calvin is a playful sweetheart! He has a lot of that puppy energy left in him, but don't let that deter you from this amazing dog! He is incredibly intelligent, though he can definitely have those moments that truly make one say "Ah, there's the lab in him." This goofball guy would benefit from an active household that is ready for their newest adventure buddy! With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.<br/><br/>CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
