Meet Calvin!<br/><br/>Calvin is a 1-year-old Dachshund and Poodle mix — our best guess, but no matter the breed, he's 100% adorable! Weighing in at about 16 lbs and fully grown, this sweet guy sports a long, wirey coat that will need regular brushing or grooming to keep him looking his best.<br/><br/>Calvin is a happy, playful pup who loves other dogs and warms up to people quickly — though he can be just a little shy at first. Once he's comfortable, he's all tail wags and affection! Calvin would do well as an only dog or in a home with another playful pup (since he can pester those who aren't in the mood to play). At home, Calvin enjoys toys, loves attention, and sleeps soundly in his crate at night. He's not fully housebroken yet and currently wears belly bands indoors, but he was recently neutered and is doing great with a potty routine in his foster home.<br/><br/>Leash walking is still a work in progress, so a home with a fenced yard would be ideal. Calvin also thinks chasing cats is fun, so if you have one, it should be a confident, dog-savvy feline.
