Meet Calvin
Looking for a compact bundle of love and cuddles?! Calvin is your man! He’s an 8-year-old sweetie pie who will steal your heart and a spot on the couch.
Personality: A heart of gold with a sweet and sensitive soul. Shy at first, but it doesn’t take long to warm up to new friends!
Favorite Pastimes: Treats are a must, belly rubs are amazing, and chewing on antlers is always okay while lounging on the couch next to you! He is after all a 30-pound lap dog!
His Peeps: Calvin loves people, kids and other dogs - his excitement gets the best of him sometimes, so his Terrier legs will give a jump or two!
When His People Are Away: Calvin would love humans that are home more than they are away and has been taking meds to help with separation anxiety. If there is another canine companion with him, he is quiet and content to settle down and watch the squirrels through the window. If he is in his kennel, he loves to sing, sing, sing and so no apartments for this dude.
Daily Fun: Calvin loves attending daycare during the day and is ecstatic to have the chance to play with people and dogs!
Bustle-Meter: Calvin is pretty low-key and does not need too much active time but enjoys some play time or a walk each day.
Need-To-Know: Sweet, sweet Calvin is a Terrier, and with that comes the need to “nose” around the yard – it’s all about the scents! If there is no fence, he’ll need a strong tie-out to make sure a scent doesn’t take this curious explorer an out-of-the-yard adventure! Calvin also gets regular baths with medicated shampoo to help ease some seasonal itchiness.

His adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, & Bordetella), HW and flea/tick preventative, and microchip implant and registration.
Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 75-mile radius of the Minneapolis, MN city center.
