CALVIN is a happy, playful 2 year old Border Collie Australian Cattle dog mix looking for an active family to include him in their adventures.<br/>Great energy level guy for hikes, runs and outdoor activities with his humans.<br/>Loves to play fetch, chase and get treats. <br/>Friendly with all people.<br/>Housetrained.<br/>Crate trained.<br/>Dog friendly with all female dogs and laid back/non dominant male dogs. <br/>Would be happy with another dog in the home or as an only dog, if included in his human's life.<br/>Has learned basic commands 'sit, stay, come'.<br/>Walks well on leash, but gets excited at times, so a harness or gentle leader works best. <br/>Not destructive inside or outside, unless he gets bored and hasn't had exercise, then he needs to be watched. <br/>Sleeps through the night in his own bed. <br/>Rides well in the car.<br/>Child friendly. We are recommending over 10 years old due to his energy. <br/>Not a big barker. <br/>Calvin likes all people and being active with them, but he is not a needy, anxious guy. <br/>He's always 'smiling', has a soft pettable coat, and his beautful ears sometimes stand up and sometimes flop over - just adorable and unique looking.<br/>Has not been cat tested, so will not be adopted to a home with cats. <br/>Only homes with a fully fenced yard will be considered. He needs a yard to run and play.<br/>Calvin is 48 lbs, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative and current on prevention.
