Callista

Callista is a 14yr old sweet old lady. She was found as a stray in TX. She was taken into rescue because no old dog should be thrown out like she was. From we can tell she was not well taken care of. She has an old injury on her right foot that was never fixed. She had a limp when she came in but after some crate rest and medication she is doing much better. She doesn't require much but a safe place and a person to love her. she sleeps in her crate all night without making a sound. She loves to walk around the yard and stretch her legs. She will need a home with no (or very few) stairs. She has no idea how to use them and will just step off and fall if there are too many. The vet told us she has a few good years left. Her heart is strong and her bloodwork was great. We are looking for a special home to let Callista live the rest of her life safe and spoiled.
