Callie #18's Story
Callie #18 is a beautiful 1-year-old purebred yellow Labrador Retriever, weighing about 55 lbs of pure sweetness. She is an incredibly loving girl who gets along well with other dogs and can coexist with a cat in the home. Callie is also very smart and eager to learn. In just two weeks in her foster home, she has made wonderful progress—she is fully housebroken and has picked up great house manners. While she’s not a big fan of the crate just yet, she is working on it. She is learning her basic commands and, despite having no prior leash experience, she now walks beautifully and enjoys meeting everyone she encounters. Callie truly is a special girl—both inside and out—and is ready to find her forever home.

We feel Callie would do best in a home with another dog to help her continue to build confidence, as well as a traditional fenced yard where she can safely run and play.

QUESTIONS: For additional information about Callie #18 please email Ann Hilchey: ann.hilchey@labs4rescue.org

Callie #18 is being fostered in Connecticut.

HOW TO ADOPT: The fastest way to start is to submit an adoption application directly (labs4rescue.com/adopt).
