Cali's Story

Cali is an 8-year-old Bull Terrier (58 lbs) currently in Rio Rancho, NM, looking for a calm, loving home. He was surrendered on Christmas Day after spending his whole life with one owner, and it’s clear he didn’t always have it easy—he has old bite scars and can be a bit shy when approached.

Despite that, Cali is incredibly loving and wants nothing more than to be your shadow. He bonds deeply with his person and thrives on constant companionship.

He is fully vetted, neutered, good with other dogs, rides well in the car, and is comfortable in a crate. Cali can be a little anxious at times (may spin when overwhelmed), but he is smart and responds well to calm guidance.

He has a mild back issue that flares up with too much activity, so a moderate, steady lifestyle is best. He should also be crated when unsupervised (he has a soft spot for destroying pillows 😅).

Cali is looking for someone patient, understanding, and ready for a loyal best friend.
