Cali is a 1 year old Carolina Dog seeking an active family to call her own. She enjoys toys and loves to play and run around. She enjoys regular walks but would prefer hiking trails over neighborhood sidewalks. She doesn’t get why the other dogs even like it; it’s so boring! She loves running, exploring, and taking in all the new sights and smells. She would love to go camping someday. <br/><br/>She will benefit from a fenced in backyard so that she has plenty of room to run around and burn off energy . She will need to be the only pet in the home. Once she has gotten her energy out, she loves to lounge on the couch with you. She is crate trained and will whine when she needs to go outside. She would do best in a home as an only dog and no children under 12.<br/><br/>Cali was rescued from an abusive situation and will benefit from a female owner who uses positive reinforcement training methods and can help her with confidence building and socialization!
