Cali's Story

Cali is smart, strong, happy girl looking to explore! She loves going on walks, especially finding sticks to chew on or holes to dig, before taking long nap on the couch with lots of soft blankets and pillows. She’s sweet and snuggly, and still building her confidence when meeting new people and dogs. While she might be a bit unsure at first, she warms up really fast and wants to give all the face kisses!

She does great in her crate overnight (goes in easily, goes right to sleep) and for 3-4 hour stretches during the day. She loves to chew on her toys while watching tv, will play chase and fetch, and wrestle with people or other dogs. She’s treat motivated and does well on a leash. She played great with her puppy siblings, and is curious but not overly focused when meeting older dogs.

At 12 weeks old, she’s got a lot of growing to do so if you’re looking for a great adventure buddy that also wants to snuggle, she’s your girl!

This animal is fostered in: New Berlin, WI

All of our animals reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their perfect match. Most of our animals come from overcrowded shelters with limited resources. We do our best to evaluate each animal’s behavior and medical needs and place them into loving foster homes until they are ready to go home with you. Our organization is operated entirely by dedicated volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.
