She was part of an unwanted litter nicknamed the “Travel Litter.” Shortly after arriving, she was adopted and has spent the past year in a home of her own. Sadly, due to a financial crisis and a move, her current family is heartbroken to have to rehome their dogs. Through no fault of her own, Cali is now looking for a truly forever home.

Cali is approximately 1 year and 3 months old and is a best-guess Lab/Aussie mix. She has the wonderful combination of Labrador sweetness and Australian Shepherd smarts. Despite the changes in her life, she remains a friendly, playful, and affectionate girl. She is past the destructive puppy stage and has grown into a well-mannered young dog who is ready to settle in with a loving family. Cali is super cute, incredibly sweet, and loves being around her people.

She is leash trained, crate trained, potty trained, and spayed, making her an easy addition to a home. Cali does well with kids, though a home with older children (around 5 years and up) would be best. She gets along well with other dogs. She has not been around cats since she was a tiny puppy, so her compatibility with them is unknown.

Cali weighs about 40 lbs — a perfect medium size for snuggles and adventures alike.

Cali is truly looking for stability, love, and a family who will cherish her for the rest of her life. She deserves a safe, committed home where she can thrive.

Cali’s Details
Gender: Female
Age: Approximately 1 year old
Weight: About 40 lbs
Breed: Lab/Aussie mix (best guess)
Spayed: Yes
Potty Trained: Yes
Crate Trained: Yes
Leash Manners: Yes
Good with Dogs: Yes
Good with Cats: Not tested since puppy
Good with Kids: Yes – best with 5+

Cali is looking for a safe, loving home where she can finally stay forever.

Apply to adopt Cali at:
www.muttlife.org

__________
Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up to date dewormer, vaccinations, and heart worm prevention (age appropriate).

NOTE: THE BREED LISTED FOR EACH DOG IS OUR BEST GUESS WITH THE HELP OF OUR VETERINARIANS.
