Cai's Story
Neutered Male
6 Years Old
68 Pounds
$175

Cai is a very sweet boy looking for a stable home. He was adopted for some time but has found himself in the shelter looking for a new place to stay and be loved.
The handsome boy is 6 years old.

He has been moved around a lot the last few months and is overwhelmed with new situations. He is looking for a quiet place that won't overwhelm him with kids, dogs and cats. He will chase cats. He usually gets along with dogs but being moved around a lot lately he will growl at new ones.

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at no additional cost to the owner. This is one reason we have fees on the dogs to help cover the extra medical some of the other residents need. They all share the burden and the rewards.
No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We typically require a meet-and-greet between any resident dogs and the dog you’re interested in adopting, to ensure everyone gets along safely and comfortably.
Want to Know if I’m Still Available?
Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability.
