Cagney- COME MEET!

Cagney is currently in a local foster home in MA. Approved applicants can make an appointment to meet her. No need to wait until the next Open House!<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting Cagney, please submit an on-line adoption application.<br/><br/>There are 4 puppies in this all female litter: Cagney, Lacey, Peanut and Bear. With their wavy coat, we think that they are Chesapeake Bay Retriever mixes. <br/><br/>The puppies and their parents, came into rescue, as an owner surrender. Cagney is 1 year old, and weighs about 50 pounds, and fully grown<br/><br/>Cagney is loving, friendly, with an outgoing personality. She loves to be with people, snuggling on the couch, or running and playing with the other dogs in the foster home. She has been in a home with cats, and did fine. She is housebroken. <br/><br/>Cagney is smart, treat motivated, learns quickly and is eager to please. <br/>She is still very puppy-like, would do best with an experienced owner, structure, routine, and additional training.. Cagney can be dog selective, and would be best as an only dog. She is not a fan of the crate, and would do best in a home with a fenced yard. <br/><br/>Adoption Fee: $250<br/>Adoption Coordinator: Vera<br/><br/><br/>Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. <br/><br/>If you wish to adopt our dogs, please complete an online APPLICATION. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.<br/><br/>All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. <br/>Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. <br/>Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements.<br/><br/>Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs.<br/>Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors. <br/>Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.<br/><br/>Also, please note our open houses which occur most every week at foreverhomerescue.org. You can see when we are open and also which dogs will be at each open house. Dogs marked 'out of town' will not usually be at open houses until they are local.
