Caddo 26C-244A's Story

Caddo and his sister, Buttercup, were orphaned when their human parent, who had loved them very much, died of cancer. There was no one else to help so both canines came to the Humane Society to find a new home. Caddo and Buttercup have the perfect Lab personalities: friendly, playful, just want to be close to live the adventure with you, enjoy chasing down a squeaky (especially the Christmas Elf), splashing in the doggy wading pool, and sharing the squeaky toy in a classic canine tug-a-war contest.

Of the pair, Caddo was the consummate water dog who loved to wade, splash, cavort, and perform amazingly intricate underwater SCUBA skills as he joyfully played in the pool. He would also love to visit a real swimming pool or jump off a dock into the lake in pursuit of a toy or even a stick to retrieve. Although one-year-old Caddo is the larger of the pair, he demonstrated his courteous self as he allowed Buttercup to eventually gain control of the ever-popular Christmas Elf squeaky. He was even caught looking at his sister with an appreciative gaze.

Whether together or singularly, Caddo and Buttercup are hoping for a forever home filled with kindness and love.
