Byron-'s Story

Byron's 90 year old mother was put into the hospital 2 weeks ago and unfortunately will probably not make it. Her biggest worry and dying wish is the make sure Byron her sweet 6 year old dog is well cared for in her passing. She has no children and her only sibling that was taking care of Byron is also in the hospital due to getting an infection while visiting her sister.

Byron has been in the house now by himself for a couple of weeks. He is housetrained and a laid back very sweet dog. He's very gentle and would be good with other dogs and kids. We are not sure about cats. I am going to get pictures as soon as i can. She described him as a big red dog. A neighbor is feeding him and letting him out, but he said Byron is lonely and getting depressed.

She does not wish for him to go to a kennel and all our foster homes are full. Byron desperately needs a loving foster home to take him in while we look for a new home for him. Can you please help? I would love to be able to reassure his mom that he will be ok.
