Today, he is safe, happy, and showing everyone just how wonderful he is. He loves people, loves to play, and especially enjoys having other dogs around.<br/><br/>He is doing very well in foster care and has shown that he would thrive with a canine companion in his forever home. Having another playful, friendly dog around would give him a buddy to share his adventures with and help keep his happy, energetic personality fulfilled. He is an extremely active dog, can be fixated on small things such as toads, crickets, and small animals. <br/><br/>He is house trained, crate trained, affectionate, social, and always ready for whatever fun comes next. Buzz is an active boy who would love a family that enjoys walks, playtime, outdoor adventures, and simply including him in everyday life. Buzz does have a tendency to chase cars, so a fenced yard where regular leash walks aren't necessary, would be ideal. <br/><br/>Buzz is an affectionate dog that adores his people. He can be defensive around people he's not familiar with and stiffens up and barks. Slow exposure with treats has helped shift him from defensive to curious, but he should never be left alone with new people or children. <br/> <br/>Buzz is not suitable for a home with cats, but he does well with dogs and children.<br/><br/>After everything this sweet boy has been through, Buzz deserves a home where he can finally feel safe, loved, and truly part of a family.<br/><br/>He's ready to leave his past behind and spend the rest of his life being the happy, goofy boy he was always meant to be.<br/><br/>Buzz has tested positive for Anaplasmosis, a tick-borne disease. Many dogs live normal, healthy lives with appropriate veterinary care and monitoring, and his adopters will receive information about any recommended follow-up care.
